About the challenge

Due to scheduling issues, we were unable to host an in-person Hackathon this year. Instead, we will be running an online Hackathon through Devpost! The Longhorn Robotics Second Annual Hackathon is an event where you and your team will compete in a week-long coding competition to create a project based on a prompt revealed at the beginning of the event.

Requirements

What to Create

The theme for this Hackathon is Self-Improvement. Contestants will make an application that can help someone improve their life on a daily basis. This prompt is very open-ended, so be creative with what you create! There are no other restrictions, so as long as your project fits the prompt, it will qualify.

What to Submit

There are a few criteria for submissions:

  • Include a brief text description of your project's purpose and functionality
  • Include a short 2 - 3 minute YouTube video explaining your project, briefly showing the code, and giving a short demonstration of your project
  • *OPTIONAL* Provide a website link or some other way to access a functioning version of your project
